Position Details

• 

  Duties/Responsibilities

  • Understand and have the skill set to operate the automated hoist system.
  • General knowledge of the customer processing specifications that apply
  • Understand and abide by the quality policy for Max Aerostructures.
  • Be able to determine water break free surfaces when required.
  • Be capable of determining daily etch rates.
  • Responsible for reviewing the process line daily, ensuring all calibration is up to date as well as the line is functioning properly
  • Understand how to rack parts for etch and pretreatment operations.
  • Ensure and abide by a quality product being produced by the process line that is in accordance with the customers’ specifications (requirements are flowed down through work orders and procedures).
  • Generally trained on all other operations of the processing facility for additional resources in other areas when needed

  Education and Experience

  The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of blueprints and CNC machines
  • Experience working with Mazak machines
  • Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area
• 

  Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, operate process equipment and be quality-oriented
  • Aerospace pretreatment operations, aerospace clean and etch operations experience preferred
