When Sean started his aerospace career as a supply chain associate at Beechcraft (then Hawker Beechcraft), his responsibility was straightforward—supporting his customer on the production line. That remains Sean’s mantra to this day. Through building relationships, honoring his commitments and maintaining a strong work ethic, Sean is a leader his customers and coworkers can count on. At MAX Aerostructures, the same can be said. With a focus on delivering quality parts on time, customers can trust their needs will remain at the forefront. Aerospace is one of Sean’s many passions, albeit distant from spending time with his wife and two young children. Sean is a graduate of Kansas State University and enjoys exercising, playing golf and coaching his kids’ sports teams.
With more than 20 years in the aerospace industry, Jeff truly operates with the interests of his customer in mind. He is transparent in his communication, stands by his commitments and understands what it takes to be a high-performing supplier. While Jeff serves primarily as the leader of MAX Aerostructures’ business development group, he also has an extensive understanding of manufacturing operations. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church and working on projects in his shop.
Having spent most of this career owning and operating a business, Alan understands every facet of an organization and the role each plays in delivering quality parts to the customer. For 11 years before joining MAX Aerostructures, Alan served as owner and head of operations at Paradigm Machine. Having leadership over the operations at MAX Aerostructures as well as serving in an executive leadership role in key decisions of the company, Alan is focused on ensuring the organization is efficient in its approach through technology, service and support. He is a degreed engineer from Wichita State University and is a certified pilot.
An engineering major from Wichita State University, Ryan owned and operated Paradigm Machine for 11 years before joining forces with MAX Aerostructures in 2016. Ryan is tasked with product development, operations and programming responsibilities with MAX Aerostructures along with cellular work center design and lean manufacturing. He also plays an integral role in the strategic vision of the company around equipment and technology. A native of Wichita, Ryan enjoys time with his family and friends as well as working on projects he has at home.
A trusted name in quality assurance for more than 30 years, Jarrod has the knowledge and skill-set to address any customer need, as well as the unique approach to partner with an operational team to ensure requirements are met and quality is always kept in focus. To achieve that success, Jarrod is constantly soliciting feedback and communicating with the many functional groups within the organization to build quality processes and a continual focus on customer satisfaction. That approach guarantees every group has ownership of the role quality plays within the company. Jarrod has many hobbies outside of MAX Aerostructures, including spending time camping and boating with his wife and four children.
With more than 27 years of manufacturing experience, Chad Tharp brings extensive industry expertise to MAX Aerostructures, where he oversees daily operations, drives performance and growth goals, and leads his team to achieve maximum results. Known for making data-driven decisions, Chad is dedicated to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, especially at the lake or pool, staying active in his church, traveling, and exploring new places.
With an accounting degree from Kansas State University and decades of experience, Matt has a thorough understanding of accounting systems and is passionate about the relentless pursuit of process improvement. His knowledge and positivity aid in his ability to serve as Chief Financial Officer at MAX Aerostructures. In his position, he is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, financial forecasting, policymaking, process review and improvement, and managing the accounting team. More than his love of leading a team, Matt enjoys witnessing his accounting team’s growth and producing actual results. He is heavily involved in his community and works with organizations like the Independent Living Resource Center, Blue Sky Ranch, Faith Community Church, Pathway Church and Youth Horizons. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and seven children, working out, repairing engines and participating in outdoor activities.
With a business administration degree from Wichita State University and more than 10 years of Human Resources (HR) experience, much of which has been directly spent in the aviation industry, Amber serves as our Human Resources Manager at MAX Aerostructures. Her previous experience as Senior Human Resources Manager at Valence Surface Technologies, combined with her vast knowledge of daily HR practices, make Amber a valuable asset to the MAX Aerostructures team. In her current position, she handles all day-to-day personnel functions while also supporting the team in any way she can to directly impact the success of MAX Aerostructures. Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her two children and watching National Football League (NFL) football.
Drawing on many years of industry experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Fort Hayes State University, Gary Albers joined the MAX Aerostructures team as our Director of Contracts Management. He draws on his previous aerospace and customer service experience to provide top-of- the-line customer service and contract reviews to each of our clients and prides himself on assisting with projects of all sizes. Outside of work, Gary enjoys watching his children play sports and challenging them to a round of golf whenever he can.
With nearly 20 years of industry experience, a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management, and a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Villanova University, Kinsey serves as our Director of Quality Assurance at MAX Aerostructures. Each day, she is responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements through the leadership of process controls, procedures, training, and understanding of the different facets of our growing customer base, as well as ensuring our continued evolution of business objectives and goals within MAX Aerostructures. Kinsey enjoys the work-life balance offered to all employees at MAX Aerostructures and appreciates the ownership team’s family values and flexibility. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Having spent the bulk of his Information Technology career in the aerospace industry, James has a vast knowledge of the design, implementation and maintenance of the computer systems used at MAX Aerostructures. Previously the IT Manager at Leading Technology Composites, James’s development expertise is invaluable in automating systems to improve the accuracy and performance of our processes. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, riding motorcycles and airbrush painting.
With decades of industry experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southwestern College, Joe serves as our Director of Operations at MAX Aerostructures. His previous experience as a Director of Operations at Exacta Aerospace and Operations Manager at Tect Aerospace have contributed to his current role overseeing the MAX Aerostructures operations group. Joe is passionate about ensuring the production of quality parts in a timely manner for all customers and working with a team to meet company and customer goals. Outside of work, Joe serves on the school board of his hometown and enjoys spending time with his family and friends while cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners football team.
With 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Michael fully embraces MAX Aerostructures’ strategic vision, consistently seeking out opportunities for the company and employees to be successful in their daily endeavors. The majority of his career has consisted of working for aerospace OEMs across the United States and leading technical support teams, from manufacturing engineering to tooling, detail manufacturing, subassembly, final assembly, systems installation, functional testing, and flight test disciplines. At MAX Aerostructures, he utilizes his diverse background to instill a 360-degree approach to problem-solving and leading teams toward a culture of continuous improvement. He is responsible for manufacturing engineering, NC programming, planning, scheduling, and APQP/PPAP development. Outside work, Michael is active in his church, serves as a community event volunteer, enjoys spending time with his family, and works on car restorations and motorcycle customizations.
With two decades of aerospace industry experience, certifications in Non-destructive testing (NDT), lead auditing and Six Sigma expertise, Robert brings vast knowledge to our manufacturing process. He is responsible for all special processing, which involves NDT and the various steps required for chemical processing, painting and shipment of the finished parts we produce. Prior to working at MAX Aerostructures, Robert gained experience at Valence Surface Technologies and Sonaca Wichita. He enjoys working closely with the other MAX Aerostructures managers with a combined goal to deliver a superior quality product on time. Robert enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
With many years in the aerospace industry, Jacob brings vast experience in aerospace manufacturing to MAX Aerostructures as our Special Projects Engineer. In his role, Jacob oversees the daily operations of the programming department while supporting new product development and process improvement initiatives. At MAX Aerostructures, he enjoys working with the team to focus on innovation and explore “outside the box” ideas. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family, getting involved in church activities, camping and boating.
Jeremy’s extensive background in both machining and assembly provides him with a high level of understanding of manufacturing producibility. This knowledge he has gained over the years gives him a unique perspective as he leads MAX Aerostructures’ estimating team. Additionally, his views on the various disciplines in manufacturing are an asset when communicating with customers as they can trust and know Jeremy has looked at each project from all angles. When he’s not at MAX Aerostructures, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, friends and watching his youngest son play sports.
