Duties/Responsibilities
Essential duties include:
Oversee all facets of production floor scheduling including lead time and WIP auditing.
Prepare and maintain annual forecast, capacity, and headcount models using Syteline.
Serves as a primary point of contact with program management, production control, and operations.
Collaborates with various departments to establish schedules and plans that determine available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
Compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand
Participates in new product process improvements including prioritization & execution.
Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
Aid in the development of a customer order acceptance process within Syteline to ensure appropriate lead time, cost and/or expedites, etcetera is managed prior to order entry.
Review work center hours through Syteline with a production schedule, EOQ’s and/or customer order realignment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in scheduling
