  Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines
  • Troubleshooting and repairs mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades
  • Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations including cleaning ups spills and emptying chips and coolant.
