  Qualifications

  The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in heat treating preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly
  • Meet commitments and deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat and walk on a regular basis

  Duties/Responsibilities

  Essential duties include:

  • Control and monitor heat treat furnaces while following written procedures on shop orders.
  • Be capable of operating an aluminum drop bottom furnace up to 950°F
  • Understand quenching and time restraints with freezer and forming operations
  • Have knowledge of Gulfstream and Boeing drop bottom solution as well as Age criteria
  • Understand the operating parameters of an Age oven
  • If needed prepare work for processing, load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.
  • This position will allow for cross-training and development of additional skills in processing and blasting
