Final InspectorLocation: Wichita, KS
We are seeking a full-time final inspector for the review and acceptance of pretreated and painted aerospace product at MAX. Experience in aerospace special processing operations compliant with NADCAP and most aerospace customer specifications with an extensive knowledge of chemical processing including chem film, anodize (Boric), NDT (PT & MT), priming and painting is required. Experience with heat treating operations is a plus. The ability to read and interpret blue prints and customer/industry specifications related to the products and then effectively communicate the requirements in a standard format to production, engineering and quality representatives will be necessary for this job function.

Duties/Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reading/interpreting blueprints, customer specifications and testing procedures, NADCAP and industry standards.
Knowledge of Isoscope (thickness measurement device) operations. Daily calibration of isoscopes utilizing internal procedure as well as customer specification instructions. Utilizing isoscopes to measure all painted products per customer requirements as well as anodized product within the pretreatment in process operations.
Review every product completed throughout the special processing department for all paint defects defined by internal work instructions and the customer specification requirements.
Perform all required paint adhesion tests defined by internal work instructions and the customer specification requirements.
Help as needed with in-process inspections as well as paint layup, masking, and production control assistance.

Education and Experience
Previous final inspection experience utilizing inspection equipment within a special processing environment.
